You are Cordially Invited There has been a lot of change recently at Cincinnati Habitat – the opening of the affiliate’s first ReStore, a new office building and warehouse, a new Executive Director, and the merger of the Cincinnati and Millcreek Valley affiliates into one. With all this change, we would like to welcome the public to come tour our new home while enjoying refreshments. Open House Saturday, August 7 2-6 PM 4910 Para Drive (45237) Come to Our Open House & Help Support Local Military Families Cincinnati Habitat is all about providing a stable home, so we have partnered with Compass Retreat Center to help equip National Guard members and their families re-establish a stable home environment after returning from deployment. Compass Retreat Center provides these families with a Family Fun Night Kit which helps them spend quality time together. You can help this effort by coming to our Open House and bringing a new item(s) from this list which will be used to stock the Family Fun Night Kits for the Compass Retreat Center.

Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity is embarking on a number of endeavors to bring affordability and sustainability together to help fulfill our mission of building simple, decent and affordable housing for God’s people in need. We are doing this because affordability goes beyond the selling price. Costs in addition to the mortgage will determine whether housing is truly affordable for the families. Cincinnati Habitat is undertaking a green building project at 1141 Homeside Avenue in College Hill. Follow this blog to learn more about this endeavor and to keep abreast of its status.
