Why Do You DO MORE with CHYP?
To engage young professionals
in the Cincinnati
area and other cities around the nation in the mission of Habitat for
Humanity, and to raise money for an incredible cause. After volunteering as
a family advocate in 2005, I was able to witness the way that Habitat for
Humanity impacts the life of the families that we work with.
I am excited for the opportunity to work with
other leaders and young professionals to bring innovative ideas to the
table, which will help us accomplish those goals that some say are not
possible! Habitat YP is the perfect opportunity. I enjoy meeting other young
professionals at events, and getting out enjoying the city. If I'm going to
attend a happy hour or event, it might as well be an event that goes towards
a cause that will help us eliminate sub-standard housing. Overall, CHYP
provides a great opportunity for that typical member of Generation Y. As for
our group, we tend to be those individuals that are up for any challenge and
we certainly aren't afraid to try to do things that might seem impossible.
Random Fact about Lisa: She has gone skydiving.

Marketing Director - Chad Frank
Why Do You DO MORE with CHYP?
I love to volunteer and with my career it can be difficult to balance
community involvement and a social life. The CHYP enables me to
hit two birds with one stone. Since I have been involved with the YP
group, I have been able to meet new people and build my social network while
at the same time support the community through the great work that Habitat
does for Greater Cincinnati.
Random Fact about Chad:
When he was a kid he thought that little people lived inside VHS tapes. He'd
would shake the tapes to try and get the little people to fall out; no one
ever fell out.

Why Do You DO MORE with CHYP?
Over the years, I have always been an advocate for volunteering. After
graduating college, I wanted to continue to volunteer while using my
degrees. I found CHYP to be a perfect fit. The YP group is new and allows
for fresh ideas. I enjoy volunteering for a great cause as well as taking
pleasure in meeting others.

Project Director - Joe Bartoszek
Why Do You DO MORE with CHYP? I got involved with Habitat
for Humanity in order to focus my energies on an area I felt compassion for
in order to both benefit the families which we provide housing for as well
as to better the organization itself which will ultimately have
reciprocating effects on both ends. I also wanted to meet new people who
were united in a mission for service to our community and to be able to
share with them and work with them to promote our goals.
Random Fact about Joe: He
likes pretty much everything except radishes and minivans (or those that
drive them-get a move on people!).

Sponsorship Director - Emily Holman
Why Do You DO MORE with CHYP?
I have always enjoyed volunteering and giving back to
the community, but have never focused on just one charity or cause until
recently. My good friend Brandy first introduced me to Cincinnati
Habitat YP and I immediately wanted to be involved in some way or another.
I thought about what my talents were and how I could get more involved.
I found out it is pretty easy to find volunteers who want to help build
homes, but often more difficult to raise the funds needed. This is
where I found an opportunity to Do More. If you are interested in
donating to Cincinnati Habitat YP, please email me at
eholman@cincinnati-habitat.org.
Random Fact about Emily: She was a Ben-Gal cheerleader for two years.
